Unlike any other technology job salary for the BASIS consultants also increase with time.

To become eligible for IT consulting jobs in SAP BASIS then:

1. Gain knowledge about SAP Solutions, operating systems and databases etc.
2. Develop problem solving attitude.
3. Gain knowledge of popular SAP Modules like EWM, S4HANA, MM, Solution Manager, BI BW, PP, FICO, HCM etc so that you can talk to Consultants from these areas confidently and understand their requirements.
4. Develop good understanding operating systems and Databases.
5. Acquire knowledge of Interfaces to SAP systems with other systems, IDOCs, Integration gateway etc.
6. Attain knowledge of what is an intelligent enterprise.
7. You will find all the relevant topics at one place SAP Learning Hub.
8. Complete your learning journey on SAP Learning Hub. The overall content is over 200 hrs. But if you are a fresher then factor the same amount of time for second turn.
9. You can also look for a good training institute in your area/ virtual learning. Do ensure to do the system practice to be hands on the SAP systems.
10. Once you are done with your learning and you feel confident then you should take the SAP Certification exam.
11. Once you get yourself certified then you can apply for the Jobs.
