You can also provide SAP EWM training, support, and maintenance services to ensure the smooth operation and performance of SAP EWM solutions. You can leverage your expertise in cloud computing, business process management, data analytics, and user experience design to deliver value-added solutions to your clients. With good experience and Knowledge you can become a Project Manager who manages the Ariba implementation and support projects. Also you can become Solution Architect who designs the entire Solution as per the client requirements. In addition to this you can look at developing your expertise in other related areas like Transportation Management System. We will come up with another blog post on Transport Management System.

It depends on various factors like your overall experience, your place, Organization you are applying for, how well you do in your interview, timing and criticality of the role. On an average an SAP Certified EWM Consultant makes between INR 6-30 Lakh/year in India and $168K-$380K/year in USA. Unlike any other technology job salary for the EWM consultants also increase with time.

To become eligible for IT consulting jobs in SAP EWM then:

1. Gain knowledge about functional domain of warehouse operations.
2. Understand the concept of Inbound, outbound and internal movements in a warehouse.
3. Gain knowledge of the terms and terminology used in warehouse.
4. Develop good understanding of wave strategies, warehouse tasks, storage bins etc.
5. Acquire knowledge of how EWM system is integrated with the ERP system (Embedded or De-centralized)
6. Attain knowledge of what is an intelligent enterprise.
7. You will find all the relevant topics at one place SAP Learning Hub.
8. Complete your learning journey on SAP Learning Hub. The overall content is for about 130hrs. But if you are a fresher then factor the same amount of time for second turn.
9. You can also look for a good training institute in your area/ virtual learning. Do ensure to do the system practice to be hands on the SAP EWM system.
10. Once you are done with your learning and you feel confident then you should take the SAP Certification exam.
11. Once you get yourself certified then you can apply for the Jobs.

7. Last but not the least if you still don’t find the opportunity then don’t feel demotivated. Don’t think that you are useless, you are used less. Take a deep breath and calm yourself. Successful people don’t do different things they just do the things differently. Pat yourself for reaching so far. Whatever, you have done so far take a learning and do things differently. It will definitely help you.
