It depends on various factors like your overall experience, your place, Organization you are applying for, how well you do in your interview, timing and criticality of the role. On an average an SAP Certified BASIS Consultant makes between INR 6-40 Lakh/year in India and $106K-$200K/year in USA.

Unlike any other technology job salary for the BASIS consultants also increase with time.

SAP BASIS Jobs-How to become a SAP BASIS Consultant?

To become eligible for IT consulting jobs in SAP BASIS then:

  1. Gain knowledge about SAP Solutions, operating systems and databases etc.
  2. Develop problem solving attitude.
  3. Gain knowledge of popular SAP Modules like EWM, S4HANA, MM, Solution Manager, BI BW, PP, FICO, HCM etc so that you can talk to Consultants from these areas confidently and understand their requirements.
  4. Develop good understanding operating systems and Databases.
  5. Acquire knowledge of Interfaces to SAP systems with other systems, IDOCs, Integration gateway etc.

Our Story

Our Story

 

It was the year 2004, a young boy of 22 years graduated from Dharamshala. He was intelligent and used to score 100/100. After completing his graduation, he wanted to do a job. So the very next day of completing the college he went to a cyber café at 9AM (with very light breakfast). He didn’t have the computer and printer at home. Only very few rich and tech savvy families used to have it at home. Cyber café was 4KM away from his home in Palampur. He didn’t have the car or a two-wheeler so he had to use public transport for commuting.  He walked to the bus stop and waited for the bus for 45 minutes. Finally, he managed to get inside the already crowded bus, he didn’t have any other option too. After traveling as standee for 30 minutes he reached the bus terminus of the city.

Now he started looking for the cyber cafe in the market. After walking 2 KMs he found a cyber café but the internet was down due to some reason. So he had to hunt for another one. After walking for another 2 KMs he found a cyber cafe. The shopkeeper said he is going to charge Rs 100/hr. Poor boy didn’t have any other choice. He agreed and started doing his work. He had basic typing skill, MS word knowledge and knew how to surf internet. He went to cyber cafe to make his resume but didn’t know how to make it.

He asked the cyber cafe person to help him. The shopkeeper came to help the boy but he was computer illiterate and knew only how to switch on/off the PC. So the boy had to take help from google. Boy thought that he would be done with preparing his resume in 30 mins. but he ended spending 2 hours. Computer systems and internet were pathetically slow. It ripped away all the money that boy had in his pocket.

Finally, he was done with preparing his resume. It was already 12:30PM. He started feeling hungry but didn’t have money to buy anything. Also, he had to go and submit his resume to multiple schools by 2 PM before they close for the day.  So he hurried on foot to various schools to submit his resume. At first school, no one entertained him. He left his resume with a peon. At second school, they refused said they don’t need any teacher and the story continued for six schools. Many people didn’t even talk to him properly (probably they were having their own bad day). By now the poor boy had walked for another 3 KMs, he was feeling hungry, tired, and demotivated. There was one more school left and he wanted to cover that the same day because he had to go to another city the next day.

Therefore, he rushes to the next school, reaches the school just 5 mins before it was supposed to be closed for the day. He met a gentleman outside Principal’s office who quickly understood what the boy is going through. He offered him chair to sit and water to drink. Then, very politely he listened to the boy, where is he coming from and why he needs to job. At the end he said very politely “today I may not be able to offer you a job. But that does not mean that you lack something. You are very knowledgeable, and you will add value wherever you go. So go and find someone who needs you and remember one thing that sincere and hard-working young people like you will always be needed.”

These kind words from an unknown angel filled the boy with motivation. All his tiredness and de-motivation disappeared, and the boy bagged two jobs in next three days. This 5 mins talk with the unknown angel had profound impact on the boy. So he decided to be an angel to the young talent by giving them what he received from his unknown angel.

This boy is none other than Mr. Neeraj Sharma. He had helped many people who came in his contact. He wanted to reach more people by breaking the boundaries of time, location and access to him and help them on IT Consulting. Therefore, he conceived the idea of this blog newseie.com.

Gurpurab 2023 (Also known as Guru Nanak Jayanti)

Today 27th of Nov 2023 is being celebrated as Gurpurab. Also know as Guru Nanak Jayanti.

Guru Nanak Dev Ji, who is the founder of Sikhism, was born on this day. Sikhs across the world celebrate this day with joy and faith. Today, we commemorate his 554th birth anniversary.

Guruji had sun like shining on his face and moon like peace in the eyes. He gave the message of Ek Omkar at the age of 8. At the age of 6 Guruji had mastered multiple languages and read all the religious books. Someone asked Rabindranath Tagore that you have written the national anthem for India, can you write an anthem for the world? Rabindranath Tagore replied that it is already given by Gurunanak Dev Ji. Out of curiosity person asked what it is? Rabindranath Tagore replied “Ek Omkar Satnam…………..” You can listen to the song on the below link.

Gurunanak Ji taught us many vital lessons. He lived his life with simplicity. He believed that we should be content with our means i.e. we should spend our resources consciously to avoid getting into financial trouble in future.

He saw that the society was divided into caste and various sections. To bring everyone together he started the concept of langar (community meals). This brought rich and poor, backward and front runner of the society on one platform.

Guru ji stressed on the concept of Seva i.e. serving others without thinking about own interests. This brought the feeling of generosity and people started doing charitable activities. Today Sikh community is seen to dedicate their lives for others and charitable causes.
